By accessing or using wavdsp.com, creating an account, purchasing software, starting a trial, or downloading installers, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

WAVDSP develops and distributes audio software and related digital products and services through wavdsp.com and customer accounts. References to “WAVDSP”, “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator of the WAVDSP website and services.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use our services.

Account features may include license management, invoices, software downloads, optional Google sign-in, optional profile details, and—where applicable—identity verification for trial access.

Purchases are processed through Stripe's secure checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable charges for the selected product, taxes where required, and any displayed fees.

WAVDSP does not store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's terms and privacy practices.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, purchased software is licensed—not sold— to you under the terms presented at download and in our perpetual license terms.

• Licenses are personal or internal-business use entitlements tied to your account
• License codes must be kept confidential and activated only as permitted
• Some products require iLok activation; others use native in-application activation
• You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense, or share installers or license codes except as expressly allowed

WAVDSP may offer time-limited trial access to selected products. Trial availability, duration, and eligibility requirements may vary by product and may change over time.

For certain trials, identity verification through Didit is required before activation. By starting verification, you acknowledge that Didit processes identity information under its own terms and privacy policy, while WAVDSP receives only the verification outcome needed to manage trial eligibility. Trial software is provided for evaluation only. WAVDSP may suspend or revoke trial access for abuse or violation of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the website or services unlawfully or in a way that harms others or WAVDSP
• Attempt to bypass security, licensing, activation, or access controls
• Create fraudulent accounts, abuse trials, or interfere with verification systems
• Upload or transmit malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use automated means to scrape, overload, or disrupt the website except as permitted by law

The website, software, product names, logos, documentation, audio demonstrations, and related content are owned by WAVDSP or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted for purchased or authorized trial software, no rights are transferred to you.

Our services integrate with third parties such as Stripe, Google, Didit, iLok, and email infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may be subject to separate third-party terms. WAVDSP is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

The website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. WAVDSP disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or compatibility with every system, host, or workflow configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WAVDSP and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim will be limited to the amount you paid to WAVDSP for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months before the event, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WAVDSP from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or unauthorized use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, your account, trials, downloads, or license entitlements if you violate these Terms, misuse software, engage in fraud or abuse, or create risk or legal exposure for WAVDSP.

Upon termination, your right to access affected services ends immediately, subject to any surviving license, payment, or legal obligations.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where WAVDSP operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute should first be raised with us through the contact details below so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
